Thank you for using Money Mind ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App stores, how third-party services may interact with your device, and how your information is handled. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
Money Mind is developed and operated by NEXRAVEN INNOVATION ("we", "us", or "our").

2. How the App Handles Your Data
Money Mind is a local-first application. The data you enter — such as savings goals, deposits, and profile details — is stored only on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or sync your personal savings data to any external server or cloud service.
Your data stays on your device and remains under your full control.
2.1 Data You Enter
When you use the App, you may choose to enter the following information, which is saved locally on your device:
- Profile Information: Your display name and profile image.
- Savings Goals: Goal titles, target amounts, target dates, priority levels, categories, and personal notes.
- Deposits: Deposit amounts, optional notes, and optional evidence images you attach to deposits.
- Achievements: Badge progress and unlock history, generated based on your saving activity.
- Feedback: Ratings (overall, usability, design, and features) and optional comments you submit through the in-app feedback feature.
- Preferences: Language, appearance theme, notification settings, and reminder time preferences.
All of this data is stored locally on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
2.2 Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following on your device's local storage:
- Savings goals, deposit records, and achievement badge progress — stored in a local SQLite database on your device.
- Profile information and app settings — stored in your device's local preferences storage.
- Evidence images attached to deposits — stored as files in the App's private documents directory.
- Profile avatar image — stored as a file in the App's private documents directory.
Because this data resides only on your device:
- Uninstalling the App or clearing app data will permanently delete all of your information.
- We cannot access, recover, or restore your data if your device is lost, reset, or damaged.
- You are encouraged to use device-level backup solutions if you wish to protect your data.
2.3 Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services that operate independently and may collect limited technical data from your device:
Advertising (Google AdMob): We display advertisements through Google AdMob in three placements:
- App-Open Ads: Shown when you launch or return to the App (with at least 15 minutes between showings).
- Interstitial Ads: Shown after certain actions, such as creating a goal or adding a deposit.
- About-Page Banner: A banner ad displayed on the About screen.
Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. Ads are only loaded and displayed when you have granted consent (or are in a region where consent is not required). Ads are also suppressed when your device is offline. You can manage your preferences at any time through the App's Legal & Privacy settings.
Analytics (Firebase Analytics): We use Firebase Analytics to understand general App usage patterns, including crash reports and performance data. This helps us improve the App's stability and reliability. Analytics events only contain anonymised metadata (such as event type, priority level, or badge name) and never include your goal titles, savings amounts, deposit values, profile information, or any other personal content. Analytics data collection is only active when you have granted consent (or are in a region where consent is not required), and is suppressed when your device is offline.
These third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies. They do not have access to your savings goals, deposits, profile, evidence images, feedback content, or any other personal content you store within the App.
3. How Your Data Is Used
3.1 Data Stored Locally
The data you enter is used exclusively to provide the App's features directly on your device:
- Displaying your goals, progress, and dashboard statistics.
- Tracking deposits and calculating savings milestones and progress pace.
- Detecting behind-schedule goals and triggering local reminders.
- Awarding achievement badges based on your saving activity.
- Sending local reminders and notifications based on your preferences:
- Daily Reminder: A summary of your active savings goals.
- Due-Soon Alert: When a goal's target date is approaching (within 3 days by default).
- Behind-Schedule Alert: When your deposit progress falls behind the expected pace.
- Showing your profile name and avatar within the App.
This data never leaves your device.
3.2 Third-Party Service Data
Limited technical data collected by third-party services is used for:
- Serving and displaying advertisements within the App.
- Analysing App performance, stability, and usage trends in aggregate.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal savings data — goals, deposits, profile, images, or feedback — with any third party. This data remains on your device only.
The following limited data sharing may occur through third-party services:
- Advertising Partners (Google AdMob): Our advertising provider may receive non-personal, device-level data (such as device type and advertising identifier) to serve ads. This does not include any of your savings or profile data.
- Analytics Providers (Firebase Analytics): Anonymised, aggregate usage data may be shared with analytics services to help us understand general App performance. Analytics events only contain metadata (such as event type and priority level) — never personal information.
- Legal Requirements: In the unlikely event we are required by law, regulation, or legal process to disclose information, we would comply to the extent required.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Your savings data, profile, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device.
- We do not maintain any external servers or databases containing your personal information.
- Evidence images and profile avatars are stored in the App's private local storage on your device.
- We implement reasonable measures within the App to protect your information.
- We encourage you to use device-level security features such as screen locks, encryption, and regular backups.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Control Over Your Data
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:
- View: You can see all your data directly within the App.
- Edit: You can modify your profile, goals, deposits, and preferences at any time.
- Delete: You can delete individual goals, deposits, and profile information directly within the App. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data permanently.
6.2 Advertising and Analytics Consent (EEA, UK, and Regulated Regions)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or other regions with applicable data protection laws (including regulated US states such as California):
- You will be presented with a consent dialog before personalised advertising and analytics data collection are enabled.
- You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the Legal & Privacy section in the App's settings.
- You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes.
- Your consent choices are remembered across sessions.
6.3 California Consumer Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected by third-party services operating within the App.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
- Equal service and price when exercising your privacy rights.

7. Children's Privacy
Money Mind is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All data entered in the App is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. If we become aware that a child under 13 has used the App, we will take steps to delete any related information.
8. International Use
Money Mind is available globally. Your personal savings data is always stored locally on your device regardless of your location. Only limited device-level data may be processed by third-party advertising and analytics services, subject to the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify you through the App or by other appropriate means if the changes are significant.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how your data is handled.
