Privacy Policy — Resize Ease

Effective Date: May 4, 2026 Developer: NEXRAVEN INNOVATIONS Contact: contact@nexraven.net App: Resize Ease

1. Introduction

Resize Ease is a free image resizing, cropping, and conversion utility for mobile devices. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Core principle: All image processing runs entirely on your device. Your images are never uploaded to any server, never stored in the cloud, and never shared with any third party. No account or registration is required to use this app.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Resize Ease app published by NEXRAVEN INNOVATIONS.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or transmit:

  • Your photos, images, or any image content
  • Image filenames or file paths
  • Any personally identifiable information such as name, email, or phone number
  • Location data
  • Contacts or address book data
  • Microphone or camera data
  • Browsing history or web activity

2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves your device:

Data Purpose
Privacy consent preferences Records which data collection categories you have consented to
Language preference Your selected app display language
App usage preferences Settings and preferences you configure within the app

2.3 Device Permissions

The app requests only the following device permissions:

Permission Purpose
Storage (read) Selecting source images via the system file picker
Storage (write) Saving output files to your chosen folder
Internet access Loading ads and sending analytics / crash reports (only when consent is granted)

On newer operating system versions, saving files uses the standard system folder-picker — no broad storage permission is needed or requested on these versions.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device resource.

2.4 Analytics Data (Optional — Consent Required)

If you grant consent for App Usage Analytics, we collect anonymous, aggregated app usage events via Google Firebase Analytics. No personal data, image content, filenames, or device identifiers are included in any analytics event.

Analytics collection is disabled by default and only activated after you explicitly grant consent. You may withdraw consent at any time via Settings → Privacy within the app.

2.5 Crash Reporting

The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and error logs to help us identify and fix bugs. Reports contain basic technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, and error details. No personal information, image content, or filenames are included.

2.6 Advertising Data (Optional — Consent Required)

The app displays ads via Google AdMob. When you interact with ads, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and general device information to serve and measure ads. This may include your device ID, which is collected for tracking purposes so that we can show you relevant, personalised ads. The extent of this collection depends on the consent choices you make in Settings → Privacy.

All ad-related consent flags default to off (denied). You may change them at any time via Settings → Privacy.

2.7 Feedback Submission (Optional — Requires Network)

The app includes an optional Feedback feature accessible from About → Feedback. If you choose to submit feedback, your star rating, an optional comment, and the submission time are sent to and stored on Google Cloud.

  • Feedback submission is entirely voluntary.
  • No name, email address, account, or device identifier is automatically attached to your feedback. However, if you include personal information in your comment, it will be stored as written.
  • Feedback data is used solely to improve the app and is not shared beyond Google's cloud infrastructure.
  • To request deletion of feedback you have submitted, contact us at contact@nexraven.net with the approximate submission date, and we will delete it within 30 days.

  • Google services (described above): Analytics events, crash reports, ad interaction data, and voluntary feedback submissions are transmitted to Google's servers as described in §2.4–§2.7.
  • Legal obligation: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfer: If NEXRAVEN INNOVATIONS is involved in a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change.
